Welcome to the Bistro Elephant! We appreciate your support and patronage at both Bistro Elephant and Lemon Grass. As we begin a new year, we would like to take a moment to orient you to the Bistro Elephant Experience.

Lemon Grass was opened in the summer of 1994, and it has been a highly successful venture for our team for over 14 years. With great success came a larger costumer base, and with a growing costumer base came a more varied clientele. To accommodate the diverse tastes of our costumers who enjoy American and European cuisines, we opened 238 Bistro in 1996. 238 Bistro served haute French and New American cuisines for over 11 years. At the end of last year, we finally closed 238 Bistro.

Bistro Elephant is a totally new venture drawing inspiration from both Lemon Grass and 238 Bistro. Serving Euro-Asian cuisine, we are excited to offer some dishes that are our staff’s favorites, but have never before been served in any of our restaurants. Our goal is to offer an inventive, tapas-style menu at affordable prices. The small and large plates are meant for sharing, as we would like to encourage our customers to try a wide variety of dishes.

Our pastry team has also added several new desserts that have never been offered by any other restaurant in Upstate New York. We are also proud to offer a new Bistro Elephant Cocktail menu. These cocktails may be complimented by any of our Euro-Asian bar snacks.

Despite our success, we recognize that our restaurant is continually growing and changing. We depend on you, our costumers, to voice your questions, comments, criticisms and concerns. Please help us continue in the right direction by working with us to serve you better.

Lastly, we would like to thank our amazing staff at both Bistro Elephant and Lemon Grass. Without our incredibly dedicated and talented staff, our restaurants would not be the success stories that they are today.
